SHAJRA Farms began with a straightforward observation about agriculture in Pakistan: the conditions for excellent produce have always been here, but the documentation has not. Punjab has deep alluvial soil, canal irrigation and generations of accumulated farming knowledge. What buyers could rarely obtain was evidence — a way to see how something was actually grown or raised rather than take a label at its word.
We built the company around closing that gap. Our farm in Toba Tek Singh runs on the same record system our customers can read. Animals are tagged within a day of birth. Field blocks are mapped and soil-tested before anything is sown. Feed, irrigation, veterinary checks and welfare reviews are logged as they happen, not reconstructed afterwards. When a batch is released, it carries an identifier that opens that history.
What we mean by provenance
Provenance is not a marketing register for us — it is the operating system. A claim we cannot evidence does not go on a pack. That discipline rules out a lot of language the industry uses casually, and it is the reason our range is narrower than it could be.
